Outside of this site, Sheet Music Guy is Ian Leung, a local of the city of Toronto, in Ontario, Canada.   He balances his career at a tech company with various musical pursuits.

This Guy started his musical career playing piano at the age of 6, and went on to eventually complete his Grade 10 in the Royal Conservatory of Music, largely against his will.   However, it was only afterwards when he quit RCM did music become truly enjoyable.   He began figuring out the songs that he actually wanted to play, and was shocked to discover how useful his Harmony courses really were.

Over the years, he’s picked up the guitar and drums, and has done music production work for himself and others.

He enjoys the colors orange, and also dark green for some reason.

He only likes long walks on the beach when it’s warm outside.

    Hey! I’m from Toronto too, and a huge fan of Jay Chou. I just found your site and I really appreciate what you’re doing. I didn’t like how Jay Chou Studio scores needed Overture. So, thanks a lot!
